Alison Ann Sweeney, an American actor and director of reality television shows, is also a scriptwriter. Sweeney is best known for her portrayal of Samantha Sami Brady on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives a part she was contracted to play with the show between January 6 and October 30th, 2014. Sweeney was able to end her role in 1999. The fads she was following no longer comprised cabbage, grapefruit and a variety of other diets. She implemented healthy lifestyle changes such as eliminating soda and sugar as well as joining boot camp type classes. This was a huge success. She shed close to 30 pounds.
